Life is Precious and so are our Memories

Recently I moved in to my new home and as we all know moving involves many, many boxes! One of the boxes I was unpacking was full of old photograph albums and loose photos. Those of you who know me personally, know I have had tremendous loss in my family due to cancer. Its has been truly devastating, but I am finding my way and figuring out life without some of my beloved family. This box was a treasure of beautiful moments, captured and preserved. I am so grateful for the job I have and that photography is my passion. Photographing people and capturing their memories is so therapeutic for me, and I would like to thank all the families who allow me to be part of their memories and trust me to document these moments. We all think we have an eternity on this planet and so much time to do all the things we want to do.  Life is fleeting and in a blink of an eye, it  can change direction. With a heavy heart I am here to tell you, you don't have endless amounts of time.  You need to do the things you want to do, now. You need to tell the people that you love, that you love them, now. Don't put these precious moments on hold, appreciate what you have and never, ever take it for granted.

On a much lighter note here a some of my favorite moments and family memories that  I helped capture:
